Geisha's in SL

I went on a hunt for some SL culture and low & behold i found an SL Geisha Performance!

It was a very low-key performance, with peaceful music and slow fan dancing by the 3 geishas with a 4th one at the side. It was enjoyable and pretty unique in my SL experience. But then again, i do spend most of my time in SL just hanging out at my club chillin' with folks and listening to the tunes, so it was a nice change to get out and try something different.

I totally recommend using the search function to find some random stuff to check out!

Sneaky peek at the ladies loo in Omerta a roleplay 1940's themed restaurant in SL, again....people are so clever to go beyond the stereotypical RP stuff and create a restaurant themed in a different era, ok maybe i'm just a real naive person when it comes to RP, but i think i could get into RP if it was this kind!!

Earmuffs from Lilo

This little gift from Lilo Jun is the best thing ever! They're cute earmuffs and you can change the color to match what you are wearing - Whoopeeee! She's a great designer, and i'd recommend checking out her shop, very cool stuff! I bought one of her dresses which had orange in it, so of course i made the earmuffs orange to match perfectly, hehehe, i love it!

Yeah, I've been doing a little window-shopping, checking out what's around and really the standard of stuff has seriously gotten better, people are so talented! Strange how SL fashion mirrors RL fashion so much, and while it's all nice & good, i still don't understand why you'd want to wear a standard pair of jeans and a t-shirt in SL when you could wear stuff that'd you'd never DREAM of wearing in RL......then again some people like the norm, and some people don't look as fab in "normal" clothes in RL as their av's look, and some people just immitate their RL in SL, so i'll just stop complaining cuz we're all so very different(thank god!!!)

Anyway, my message to all SL designers out there: Keep it up! and give me freebies cuz i like 'em!!!

So I'm sitting here in RL watching the CSI with SL in it.....oh man it's weird! Their take on it is better then the BBC's crappy "Adultery & virtual relationships" in SL show...yikes that was bad. So yeah, i think it's funny that they all use voice and stuff, it's such a modern version of SL, what about us old skool non-voice people? hehe And the islands they visit, the whole gladiator thing, what was that all about? And when Stella refers to the bf of the dead av in SL becoming a "furry" to sneak up on the baddie, well.... how did she get so trendy to know all the lingo and stuff.....or am i just really out of it and does everyone know what a furry is in RL? I sure as hell didn't! I do now, but it's a steeeeep-ass learning curve in SL, ha!

Anyway, i can't seem to turn it off, which is saying something, go CSI! Woot woot! Can't wait to see how it ends.......

Been too long.....

So, wow not having internet access can really interfere with the creative juices! I've gotten back on track now and am slowly getting back into my photoshopping! Same tricks with new pics, but i've gotta practice :)

So many different visions.......gosh, the visual world is your oyster with PhotoShop! And one snap can take on a million different looks, it's great! So here's one i messed around with, and i like the results, obviousuly still learning and honing my skills, but this is what it's all about, right? Playing with Photoshop to see what you can do!! And it's good fun! hahaha I think so at least :)
